Reds Trimming The Roster

As hard as it is, it's something the brass has to do every Spring and this is no exception. The Reds have reassigned several players to minor league teams. RHP Daryl Thompson, one we though had a slim shot at the fifth starter spot is now out of the running. Other big names to get the red flag in their locker was Jacque Jones and Norris Hopper. Granted you could see all three of these guys back in a Reds uniform before the season is over but they don't head north when camp breaks.
