Reds moves may be finished

It sounds like the Reds may possibly be finished making moves for the 2009 season before training camp opens when pitchers and catachers report on Valentines Day. Yesterday, the Reds added Jerry Hairston Jr. back to the mix. He may start at short but if Alex Gonzalez is healthy in time, he could also start in left. Personally, I'm hoping Chris Dickerson has a great spring and gets the nod in left field.

The Reds are going to have a ton of speed but maybe not much pop in the lineup. I'm hoping Mr. Phillips doesn't continue to think of himself as a home run hitter and go back to hitting two-base gappers like he should be doing. Bruce and Votto's power numbers will have to increase as the lineup stands now.

I think one of the biggest things for Dusty to make sure happens is to reel in Brandon and like you said make him a gap hitter instead of swinging for the fenches every AB
