Reds/Red Sox Saturday update top 9

Griffey Jr. just bounced into a 3-0 count double play to end the 8th with Jay Bruce on 3rd. That is re-freakin-diculous. No excuse for that. Straight down the pipe 3-0 fastball and he rolls over it into a double play. To his defense Jolbert Cabrera should've been standing on second on a ball in the dirt on a 2-0 count. Griffey is showing his trade value with a big .248 average. Way to go Griff. Reds down 4-3 going into the 9th. Here comes Paplebon in the 9th. Good luck with that. Phillips and Dunn will get their hacks in to tie it if the Reds can hold Ellsbury and company here in the 9th.
